I do believe I have found a perfect brunch spot!
The fried chicken sandwich is delicious. Not greasy, good flavor combination.
The tatchos! Watchyo tatchos, cuz I'm gonna eat 'em! What's not to love? Tater tots nachos style.
We had dessert. The churros waffles. Finally someone to get this right! Churros batter made in a waffle iron, then deep fried for crispiness and finished with cinnamon sugar. They give you maple syrup and fruitsie tootsie on the side. The batter is properly eggy, which is the biggest thing angry white people get wrong when trying to add a diverse spin on their shitty waffles. -

Food
- Southwest Breakfast Burrito: 6/10 This burrito was unremarkable. Even though we ordered the chorizo sausage on the side, we expected there to be more to it than just plain-tasting scrambled eggs and some tomatoes and avocado. Not bad, but definitely something we could have made ourselves. There are more creative things on the menu.
- Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Empanadas: 9/10 These came out hot and perfectly crispy! The crust was just the right flakiness and the filling was good too. They were served with home fries and drizzled with spicy mayo, which paired really well with the empanadas. The plate comes with two and it was definitely filling, but they're so good you'll want more!
- Girl Scout Cookie Pancakes #Samoas: 7/10 Being huge fans of samoas, we wanted to like these pancakes. However, the pancakes themselves were too chewy and dense, rather than soft and fluffy. What they did nail, though, were the toppings. The coconut flakes, caramel drizzle, and chocolate sauce really helped the pancakes stay in character.
- Orange Juice: 10/10 We had to give this place some credit for their orange juice! It was freshly squeezed and super sweet without any added sugar.
Service: 8/10 Even though this establishment is semi-self-service, the staff was very accommodating to our requests and dietary restrictions. We ordered at the counter and our food was brought out to us as it was prepared.
Atmosphere: 8/10 This place is super cute and cozy! It got packed after 10am, but people were in and out pretty quickly. -

REALLY GOOD! I went to curbside on a friends suggestion. The place sits on a corner lot, not a lot of parking and seating is limited (about 10 tables that sit two). We were there for lunch and the young lady that waited on us was very helpful and friendly. You order at the counter and your food will be brought to you as soon as it is ready.
Lots of choices but since it was my first time i decided to try the #1 pick on the sandwich menu, which is eight hour braised short rib, caramelized pork belly, provolone on a fresh crusty roll. The short ribs had just come out of the oven and the smells were amazing. My friend had the Cali cutlet which is crispy chicken cutlet, avocado, applewood bacon, tomato, mozzarella, red pepper mayo on a crusty roll. Both sandwiches were delicious and come with house-made chips. That day they had fresh made churros on the specials menu, that came out warm with cinnamon sugar, chocolate sauce and whip cream that had a little extra flavor
I would highly recommend! The menu offers many breakfast/brunch items and sandwiches/burgers/salads for lunch. Most items i asked about were made in house yum yum -

So happy we decided to try this place. One of best brunch spots in Stamford. It's low key with only a few tables, but very quaint with a lot of character. The menu was creative and fun- combining southern and Hispanic twists with breakfast burritos, bacon egg and cheese empanadas and fried chicken and waffles. We had the empanadas and the breakfast burrito which were both awesome. The prices were very reasonable and portions were large. High praises for this spot as we will definitely be back.

Yummy creative breakfast sandwiches, waffles, churros and also lunch but we are Breakfast People. My Cuban with bbq pork, honey ham, scrambled egg, & onion was Everything. Very crowded on Sunday so expect a wait.
